Chikamasa T-552 Pruning Shears – Precise Cutting for Everyday Plant Care

The Chikamasa T-552 Pruning Shears are versatile cutting tools designed for regular plant maintenance, pruning shoots and detailed trimming work. Their straight Japanese high-carbon steel blades provide controlled cutting, while the ergonomic handles and spring-loaded mechanism make repeated use more comfortable. Suitable for both home gardeners and experienced growers, these shears are a practical addition to indoor and outdoor gardening equipment.

48 mm Japanese High-Carbon Steel Blades

The T-552 features straight blades with a cutting length of 48 mm, providing useful reach when trimming leaves, shoots and plant stems. Made from Japanese high-carbon steel, the sharp cutting edges offer reliable performance for accurate pruning. The straight blade profile makes it easier to position the shears and control individual cuts, particularly when thinning foliage or maintaining plant growth.

Spring-Assisted Operation and Ergonomic Handles

Repeated cutting becomes more comfortable thanks to the integrated spring mechanism, which automatically reopens the blades after each cut. This reduces the amount of hand movement required during longer trimming sessions. Soft, non-slip plastic-coated handles provide a secure and comfortable grip, helping you maintain control throughout the task. With an overall length of 185 mm and a weight of 105 g, the T-552 offers a manageable design for a variety of plant care activities.

Versatile Use and Convenient Storage

Whether you are pruning plants in a grow tent, maintaining houseplants or carrying out general gardening tasks, the Chikamasa T-552 provides a practical solution for controlled cutting. An integrated locking strap keeps the shears closed when not in use. After trimming, remove any plant residue from the blades and store the tool in a dry place.
