Fit4Seasons Chaga Powder is made from the chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus), a unique fungus that grows mainly on birch trees in cold climates such as Siberia, Canada and Northern Europe. Known as „black gold“ in Russia, chaga has traditionally been prepared as a tea, simmered for hours, and was valued for sustained energy during harsh winters. With its distinctive look – burnt-black outside and vibrant orange inside – it is easily recognised on birch trees.
The powder is a full-spectrum extract of the sclerotium, made with a dual water and ethanol extraction. It is rich in polysaccharides, betulin, betulinic acid and sterols, and has antioxidant properties.
How to use
The recommended dosage is one teaspoon (1.5 g) per day, dissolved in hot water as a tea or added to shakes, smoothies or soups. Its neutral taste blends well with other mushroom powders. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
