Blumat Druckminderer, 1 bar

Beschreibung

Consistent 1 bar water pressure for Tropf-Blumat from a mains tap

The Blumat Pressure Reducer, 1 bar connects a Tropf-Blumat irrigation system to a suitable water tap and reduces the incoming water pressure to a constant 1 bar. This provides the operating pressure required by the Tropf-Blumat system without relying on an elevated water tank. It is suitable for compact installations as well as larger automatic watering systems.

Direct connection to the water supply

The inlet has a ¾-inch connection for suitable water taps and accepts a maximum inlet pressure of 6 bar. On the outlet side, the reducer connects to the 8 mm Blumat feeding tube, which carries water through the irrigation system. According to Blumat, the reducer can also be connected to a pump fitted with a pressure compensation vessel.

Stable operation with an integrated dirt filter

A removable stainless-steel dirt filter also acts as a seal and helps prevent coarse particles from entering the irrigation system. It can be taken out for cleaning when required. One pressure reducer can supply up to 250 Tropf-Blumat sensors. The plants may be positioned up to 4 m above or 3 m below the water connection.

Useful for new installations and system extensions

The pressure reducer is particularly useful when you want to run Tropf-Blumat continuously from a pressurised water supply. Compatible sensors, tubing, connectors and other components are available in the Blumat irrigation systems range. The reducer should be fitted to the tap by hand and must be protected from frost during use and storage.
