Biddy Early (feminisierte Samen)

Beschreibung

Biddy Early is the outdoor variety from Serious Seeds, developed by Gerrit from Magus Genetics for the cold and humid climate of the Netherlands. It’s an F1 hybrid with sativa dominance, featuring an earthy aroma accompanied by a candy-like sweetness and a high THC level that delivers a potent and long-lasting effect. Ideal for growers seeking a reliable genetics for outdoor cultivation in northern European climates.

Genetics: Early Skunk F2 x Warlock

The cross combines Early Skunk F2, responsible for the early maturation and outdoor vigor, with Warlock, which contributes potency and bud density. The result is a predominantly sativa plant with the classic Christmas tree structure, easily reaching between 1.8 and 2 meters in a normal season. Most specimens develop red and purple hues when nighttime temperatures drop.

In cultivation: resistant and easy to manage

Indoors it flowers in 7-9 weeks with yields of 300 to 400 g/m², with a recommended vegetative period of 2 to 3 weeks. It’s worth noting that it struggles to remain in vegetative state, so it’s not the best candidate as a mother plant; LST helps control its stretch. Outdoors it’s harvested between mid-September and early October, with yields around 300 g per plant in open field and very good resistance to mold. Serious Seeds considers it their starter model due to how easy it is.

Flavor and effect: damp earth and candy sweetness

The aromatic profile blends an unusual earthy note with a sweet background reminiscent of candy, with fruity nuances on the palate. The effect starts cerebral and euphoric, with a stimulating edge, and evolves toward a more relaxed and enveloping sensation; it’s not the most practical option for day-to-day use, though it’s not excessively sedating either. Its high THC explains why it won second place in the Sativa category at the 2003 High Times Cannabis Cup, being the only outdoor bud in competition.
