Velvet Cream by Cookies Seed Bank
Velvet Cream is not a variety that stands out through loudness. Its character sits more in a calm, dense structure and a finish that feels soft without becoming generic. That is exactly what helps it separate itself from louder dessert names more effectively than sweetness alone would.
The genetic base of Ice Cream Cake and Medellin fits that direction well. Ice Cream Cake brings more density, resin, and a heavier framework, while Medellin gives the line a more modern edge and adds contour through spicier and slightly citrus led touches.
In growth, Velvet Cream usually stays compact to balanced and builds a controllable form with stable side branching. That makes it useful in smaller indoor setups, as the plant does not bring too much movement or disorder into the space. For a flatter canopy, it can be opened up early or guided with light LST without needing harsh intervention.
Flowering time is generally placed at around 9 to 10 weeks. Indoor yields are commonly listed at about 450 to 500 g/m², while outdoor plants are often placed near 500 to 550 g per plant. The flowers usually finish dense and heavily resin coated, and together with possible lavender expression, that gives the line the visual direction suggested by its name.
In profile, Velvet Cream clearly leans into the creamy and sweet range, but it does not stay one-dimensional. Alongside the softer Ice Cream Cake base, lightly earthy, spicy, and faint citrus notes help keep the variety from slipping into pure dessert language. That calmer and firmer overall expression is what makes the line interesting.
