Tropf-Blumat adjustment screw for precise irrigation control

The Tropf-Blumat Adjustment Screw, single is an individual replacement part for the drip head used in the Tropf-Blumat irrigation system. It allows you to adjust the valve response and therefore set the irrigation according to the desired moisture level in the growing medium. If the original brown adjustment screw is damaged or lost, you can replace it separately without changing the complete drip head.

Replacement part for Tropf-Blumat drip heads

The adjustment screw forms part of the drip head used with both Tropf-Blumat and Tropf-Blumat Maxi. It is therefore useful for repairing and maintaining an existing system. Adjust the irrigation directly at the sensor

For initial adjustment, turn the screw anticlockwise until water runs from the drip tube. Then slowly close it until the flow stops and a single drop remains hanging from the end of the tube. The standard initial setting is then closed by a further quarter turn, equivalent to two marking arrows. Small subsequent adjustments allow you to alter the target moisture level. To help prevent accidental changes, the screw can also be combined with the Blumat Setting Lock.
