Tarte Tatin does not rush into a messy frame. It first builds height in a clean way, keeping enough space between the flower sites so the plant never chokes itself later on. The stems stay medium in length, rise upright and carry the set evenly upward. That gives it a shape that feels organised rather than squat or scattered, a hybrid laying out its space properly before it starts tightening up.

Stretch comes in, but it stays measured. In most cases the plant roughly doubles in size, then settles and shifts its energy into flower formation. That is where it starts showing its value.Large calyxes form clearly along the stems and develop into a separate compact flower at each site rather than closing into one continuous mass. The leaf to flower ratio stays favourable, which keeps the look cleaner and makes the finish easier to read.

Caramel Apple Gelato and King’s Tart are pulling in the same direction here, just with different accents. One side brings that pronounced calyx structure, the other adds more resin and more pressure across the surface. Toward the end, some plants can pick up blue and dark purple tones, but the variety never depends on colour alone. What matters more is the mix of ordered structure, tidy flower set and a plant that speaks through form and resin rather than excess leaf.

On the nose, this is not cheap sweetness. Caramelised apple comes first, then vanilla, with some cream underneath and a darker chocolate note that stops the profile from turning flat.
