Return of the Mac Auto is the autoflowering version that DNA Genetics developed in collaboration with Capulator, an indica-dominant hybrid that crosses Auto OG Kush with MAC (Miracle Alien Cookies). It stands out for its OG base with creamy cookie-like nuances, high THC levels and minimal CBD, and a balanced fast-acting effect. Ideal for growers looking for a simple, resinous auto with a short cycle.

Genetics: Classic OG with the modern touch of MAC

This is a hybrid that leans towards the indica side. The mother, Auto OG Kush, comes from a ChemD bag seed from the 90s brought to autoflowering format with ruderalis, and provides the compact structure and OG character. The MAC, a cross of Alien Cookies with Starfighter and Colombian Gold, adds potency, resin and that creamy background. The result is a bushy plant, medium-sized with good lateral branching.

In cultivation: fast and suitable for beginners

It’s an easy variety, suitable even for those starting out. Indoors it completes its cycle in around 60-70 days from germination, with published yields of 28-40 g/m² and photoperiods of 18/6 or 20/4. It responds well to SOG and ScrOG, and its dense structure appreciates good ventilation to prevent mould. Outdoors or in a greenhouse it doesn’t depend on the photoperiod, so the harvest adjusts to the sowing date; a warm, dry climate with several hours of direct sun is advisable.

Flavour and effect: citric, creamy and balanced

In aroma and flavour it combines apricot, sour cherry, citrus and tangerine with an earthy and creamy cookie-like background on an OG base. The effect arrives quickly: it starts euphoric, sociable and cerebral, stimulating conversation and creativity, and evolves towards a relaxing phase that some describe as sedative, more suitable for the end of the day. With its high THC levels, it’s a potent variety highly valued for extractions due to its abundant resin production.
