Beskrivelse
Propagator Set for Cuttings, coco for controlled propagation and early rooting
The Propagator Set for Cuttings, coco brings together the main equipment needed for propagating plants from cuttings. It contains a compact propagator, 100 coconut coir pellets, 50 ml of Clonex rooting gel, a Birchmeier Foxy Plus hand sprayer and 100 white GrowPRO plant labels. The set gives both new and experienced growers a practical way to manage humidity and fresh-air exchange while keeping different cuttings clearly identified.
A compact propagator with adjustable ventilation
The 38 × 24 × 17 cm propagator accommodates at least 20 peat or coconut coir pellets. Its transparent lid allows light to reach the plants while helping retain humidity around young cuttings. Adjustable vents in the lid allow you to regulate the supply of fresh air. Two channels in the base collect excess irrigation water, helping to prevent the propagation pellets from remaining in standing water.
Peat-free coconut coir pellets and Clonex rooting gel
The 100 coconut coir pellets are made from compressed coconut fibres and contain no peat. Each pellet has a diameter of 36 mm and a pre-formed planting hole. Warm water expands the pellets within approximately 10–15 minutes, with around 0.75 litres required for ten pellets. Mild starter nutrients support the early growth stage, and established plants can later be transplanted together with the biodegradable coconut root ball.
The included Clonex rooting gel is applied undiluted to the freshly cut stem end. It contains 3.3 g/l indole-3-butyric acid (IBA). In Germany, Clonex is authorised for rooting ornamental plant cuttings in indoor rooms and greenhouses. Always follow the application instructions on the product label.
Manage moisture and keep individual cuttings organised
The Birchmeier Foxy Plus hand sprayer provides a convenient way to distribute water around the propagation area. It has a 0.5-litre capacity, an adjustable plastic nozzle and can also be operated upside down. The 100 white GrowPRO plant labels measure 10 × 2 cm each, making it easier to distinguish plants, varieties or different propagation dates. You can find further coordinated equipment among Growmart’s cultivation and cutting kits.
