Beskrivelse

Propagator, 38x24x17 cm – A Protected Growing Environment for Seedlings and Cuttings

The Propagator, 38x24x17 cm provides a sheltered environment for germinating seeds, rooting cuttings and raising young plants. Its transparent lid helps retain humidity while allowing light to reach the plants inside. Adjustable ventilation openings make it easy to manage airflow throughout the propagation process. Compact and straightforward to use, this mini greenhouse is suitable for both beginners and experienced growers who regularly propagate plants indoors.

Humidity Retention with Adjustable Ventilation

Freshly taken cuttings benefit from a humid environment because they have not yet developed the roots needed to absorb water effectively. The transparent cover helps reduce moisture loss and provides a protected space during these early stages.

Sliding vents in the roof allow fresh air to enter when required. This gives you control over ventilation during germination and rooting, while helping young plants gradually adjust to the surrounding environment as they develop.

Space for at Least 20 Propagation Pellets

With a base measuring approximately 38 × 24 cm, the propagator accommodates at least 20 small peat or coco propagation pellets. Suitable Jiffy peat pellets can be placed directly into the tray for seed starting or rooting cuttings.

Two channels moulded into the base collect excess watering water. These recessed areas allow surplus moisture to gather away from the immediate base of the propagation pellets. Regularly checking moisture levels remains important to avoid overly wet growing media.

Compact Propagation with Optional Bottom Heating

The compact dimensions make this propagator easy to incorporate into various indoor growing arrangements. In cooler conditions, it can be combined with a separately available Romberg heated propagation mat to provide additional warmth from below.
