Mendocino Purple Kush

Beskrivelse

Mendocino Purple Kush by Medical Seeds

Mendocino Purple Kush by Medical Seeds is a feminized cross of Mendocino Purple x Purple Kush. On paper, it may look like a pure color line, but in practice there is more to handle: stretched growth, a robust base, very large leaves and a Kush body that needs direction in the room.

Indoors, SCROG is not a random recommendation for this variety. The plant can take up space quickly through its size and leaf mass, so an organized canopy makes more sense than late corrections. Mendocino Purple Kush is also sensitive to overfeeding. When liquid nutrients are used, the existing nutrient level in the substrate should be taken seriously, because the plant shows excess fairly clearly.

The phenotypes give this variety its own shape. Medical Seeds describes four phenotypes, ranging from green to deep purple. The greener plants usually finish about 5 to 7 days earlier. Purple expressions tend to produce sweeter smelling flowers, while greener plants lean more toward an earthy profile.

That range matters more than one simple aroma label. Purple Kush brings the heavy earthy side, while Mendocino Purple adds riper and sweeter tones. Depending on which phenotype is more visible, the variety can read quite differently without losing its Kush base.

The cup history is long and covers indoor, Kush, mechanical extraction and solventless extraction categories. Beyond that, Mendocino Purple Kush is defined by nutrient sensitivity, SCROG handling, color variation and the earthy Purple Kush line.
