Eazy Plug Eazy Block 7.5×7.5x6cm for controlled young plant development

The Eazy Plug Eazy Block 7.5×7.5x6cm is a bonded growing block designed for the next stage after propagation. Rooted cuttings or germinated seedlings can be transferred together with their propagation plug, giving the developing plant more space for root growth. Its organic soil composite combines structural stability with self-regulating water and air management. This pack contains 160 Eazy Blocks, making it suitable for larger propagation and cultivation runs.

Moving from propagation plug to growing block

The Eazy Block is designed as the next stage within the Eazy Plug growing system. Before transplanting, fully moisten the block and allow excess water to drain freely. The rooted plug containing the cutting or seedling can then be placed into the opening in the top of the block. Suitable starting media are available among the Eazy Plug propagation products. Further equipment for seeds, cuttings and young plants can be found in plant propagation supplies.

Balanced moisture without a plastic sleeve

The organic material is firmly bonded, so the block does not require a plastic wrapping to hold its shape. It also has a predetermined air-to-water balance together with buffered pH and EC characteristics. For the self-regulating moisture system to work correctly, excess irrigation water must be able to drain away. The block is supplied dry, readily takes up water again and distributes remaining moisture evenly throughout the material.

Air pruning for a more extensively branched root system

Because the sides of the block remain exposed, emerging root tips come into contact with drier air. This air-pruning effect limits continued extension of individual root tips and encourages the formation of additional lateral and fine roots within the block instead. The result is a densely branched root structure throughout the growing medium. Once rooted through, the Eazy Block can be transferred into a wide range of growing media and cultivation systems.
