Durban Dew

Beskrivelse

Durban Dew by Dutch Passion

Durban Dew feels like a variety that makes far more sense outdoors than inside a tight indoor logic. It carries movement, air and side branching in the plant from the start and shows early that it was never meant to be read as a compact standard hybrid. That is exactly what makes it interesting in the Dutch Passion range.

The cross of Durban Poison and Frisian Dew brings together two lines that both remain visible. From the Durban side comes the more open and sativa leaning pull, while Frisian Dew adds outdoor suitability, sturdiness and a more load bearing frame. The result is not a random blend, but a variety with a clearly outdoor driven signature.

In growth, Durban Dew gains pace quickly and builds many strong side branches. The plant feels neither coarse nor squat, but more expansive, supportive and geared toward yield. That body shows itself much better in outdoor and greenhouse setups than in small spaces with hard limits.

Aromatically, it avoids classic heavy Skunk or Kush patterns. Sweetness, acidity and fruit move together here in a livelier way, with a direction that can recall berry candy notes without feeling artificial. That gives the variety more individuality than many green allrounders that are described only through toughness.

Durban Dew comes across as a weather ready, sativa leaning Dutch Passion line with strong lateral structure, a fruity sour profile and a very clear outdoor emphasis.
