Canna Coco Professional Plus, 50 liter

Beskrivelse

Canna Coco Professional Plus for controlled conditions around the root zone

Canna Coco Professional Plus, 50 litres, is a fully buffered coco growing medium designed for fast-growing plants cultivated in pots. It combines high water retention with good air availability, making it suitable for growers who want precise control over irrigation and plant nutrition. The ready-to-use substrate can be used with manual watering as well as suitably configured irrigation systems.

Selected coco flakes, washed and fully buffered

The growing medium consists of 100% coco flakes produced from selected Indian coconuts. During processing, the material is washed with fresh water and fully buffered. This buffering reduces the unwanted binding of certain plant nutrients that can occur with untreated coir. No chemical additives are used. If you want to compare other coco-based growing media, the coco substrates range contains further options for container growing.

73% water and 23% air capacity

The uniform structure provides a water-to-air capacity of 73% to 23%. This enables the medium to retain nutrient solution while maintaining air-filled pores around the roots. A wood-cellulose content of 45% helps the coco retain its physical properties over an extended period. CANNA recommends pots of at least 5 litres for larger plants, as a greater substrate volume helps maintain more consistent root-zone conditions.

Designed for controlled feeding on coco

Coco growing media are supplied with nutrients through the irrigation solution during cultivation. CANNA therefore recommends its dedicated COCO nutrient range for use with this substrate. Suitable base nutrients and supplements can be found among the CANNA fertilisers and nutrients. With appropriate handling, Canna Coco Professional Plus can be reused several times and can later be incorporated into other growing media or soil as an improver.
