California Octane Triploid

Beskrivelse

California Octane Triploid by Humboldt Seed Company

California Octane Triploid takes the known Octane line from Humboldt Seed Company and moves it into a modern triploid seed form. The cultivar stays in gas, guava and cream territory, but the triploid build gives it a more technical edge than the standard California Octane.

The parent line is I 369 x Dream Queen x Papaya. Dream Queen brings old Humboldt drive and plant pressure, Papaya adds a creamy fruit trace, and I 369 works as the modern hybrid piece between structure, density and resin. In triploid form, the cross is not reinvented. It is tightened into a more specific breeding format.

Triploid means three chromosome sets in this line. HSC explains this through work with tetraploid and diploid plants, without genetic modification. The important part is to keep it factual. California Octane Triploid is best read as a hardy, adaptable HSC line with very densely stacked flowers, not as a promise machine.

Flowering is listed at 60 days, with the outdoor window running from October 1 to October 10. That keeps it close to the regular California Octane, while pushing the read toward compact mass, bright trichome surface and field ready behaviour. It fits a Farmer’s Favorite line made for rows, not just for a strong name.

The nose stays hard on gas, with guava and cream softening the edge. For Cannoptikum, California Octane Triploid is not a novelty label. It is a technical Humboldt version of an already serious farm selection: same Octane bite, more triploid depth, a clear October row and a heavy California hybrid core.
