Calamity Jane (autoflowering-frø)

Beskrivelse

Now available on the website, Calamity Jane seeds, Buddha Seeds‘ commitment to a high-performance autoflowering variety. With sativa dominance and a THC content that reaches or exceeds 20%, this strain combines an ultra-fast cycle with resin production that makes it especially interesting both for flower cultivation and for making extractions.

Genetics: the power of Magnum with American sativa blood

Calamity Jane Auto is born from the cross between Magnum, Buddha Seeds’ own reference automatic variety, and a selection of American classic sativas from Brothers Grimm. The genetic work wasn’t limited to hybridization; Buddha Seeds applied mass selection techniques and chromatographic analysis to maximize the cannabinoid profile and push THC to its ceiling. The result is a sativa-dominant hybrid that preserves the agility of the automatic cycle without sacrificing sativa expression in aroma, structure, and effect.

Cultivation: fast, generous, and adaptable

Indoors, Calamity Jane Auto completes its cycle in approximately 75 days from germination (about 4 weeks of vegetative growth and about 7 of flowering) and can yield between 550 and 600 g/m². Its buds are dense, heavy, and abundantly covered with trichomes, which requires effective ventilation to avoid moisture buildup. Given that its aromas are intense and penetrating, the use of activated carbon filters is highly recommended in enclosed spaces.

Outdoors, the cycle extends slightly to 75 – 80 days from germination. Being autoflowering, it doesn’t depend on photoperiod, which allows growing it at any time of year; even so, planting in late spring is recommended to take advantage of summer daylight hours. Production per plant ranges between 100 and 250 g, and to avoid limiting the root system, it’s advisable to work with pots of at least 20 liters. Its well-branched structure and accessible profile make it suitable for growers with little experience, although its larger size compared to other autos requires some familiarity with managing large plants.

Aromas, flavors, and effects

Calamity Jane Auto’s olfactory profile is as striking as its production: sweet and citrus aromas with a marked presence of lemon, accompanied by spicy touches and hints of pine. The intensity is notable from the flowering phase, reinforcing the need for good odor management in cultivation. On the palate, the flavor repeats the sweet and citrusy line, with a persistent lemony aftertaste at the end of each hit.

The effect is true to its sativa heritage: euphoric, cerebral, and with a marked psychedelic component in the first phase. As it progresses, the experience evolves toward a progressive relaxation that softens the initial impact without completely dulling it. Potent and long-lasting, it’s especially valued by those seeking a stimulating experience. Its abundant resin production also makes it a solid candidate for those venturing into the world of resin extractions.
