Boveda 62% Humidor Pack, 8 g

Beskrivelse

Boveda 62% is a blend of potassium citrate and acetate. When the humidity is higher, it draws in water; when it is lower, it releases water.

The pouch is made of a unique material that works much like reverse osmosis: it can take in and release water molecules while the salt stays inside and contaminants stay out. This lets Boveda hold a constant humidity in a closed container and regulate it in both directions.

This 8 g Boveda 62% pack keeps an optimal, constant 62% humidity for about 30 grams of well-dried herbs in a closed container for 3 to 4 months. Remove only the plastic wrapping, place the pack in the container with the herbs and close it as tightly as possible. Note: Boveda is not suitable for drying moist, unripe herbs.

Benefits of two-way humidity control:

• keeps the optimal humidity in a closed container in both directions
• removes the risk of over-drying and weight loss in dried herbs
• protects herbs from high humidity and mould
• preserves as much of the plant compounds as possible, such as essential oils, terpenes and cannabinoids
• the ideal humidity helps keep an optimal structure and prevents damage to important plant parts such as trichomes
• easy to use
• contains a food-grade (FDA) potassium citrate and acetate medium

When the pack is used up, the gel inside hardens; simply replace it with a new one. How long a pack lasts depends on several factors: it is shortened mainly when the herbs are not dried properly (too little or too much), and when the container is opened often and the microclimate is disturbed.
