Banana Melt

Beskrivelse

Banana Melt by Humboldt Seed Company

Banana Melt is not built around weight or gas. In the Humboldt Seed Company catalogue it reads taller, brighter and more sativa led, like a longer California row with tropical lift and enough plant character to carry the name without leaning on it too hard.

The cross of Banana Melt Bx3, Blue Dream and Squirt gives the line its shape. Banana and citrus sit up front, while the plant itself leans more open and upward than many denser HSC entries. This is not a squat little fruit hybrid. It wants headroom and shows more movement through the frame.

HSC lists Banana Melt with up to 63 days of flowering and an outdoor window from October 1 to 10. Because the plants can grow considerably tall, early height control through careful pruning or suitable guidance of the side branches is recommended.

The official description also marks the variety as resistant to mold and disease. That fits a cultivar meant to hold up both indoors and outside. Some phenotypes can throw ultraviolet purple tones, which adds another visible cue to a line already defined by height, brightness and tropical direction.

The nose moves through ripe banana, citrus and pineapple. What makes Banana Melt useful is not one headline number, but the mix of tropical terpene pull, vertical growth and sturdy field behaviour. In the Cannoptikum range, it lands as a tall Humboldt fruit line with reach, resilience and a clear California row identity.
