Aqua Master Tools pH 4.00 for reliable pH meter calibration

Aqua Master Tools pH 4.00 is a ready-to-use buffer solution for calibrating electronic pH meters. It is suitable for growers who regularly check the pH of irrigation water and nutrient solutions and require a defined acidic reference point for their meter. Suitable instruments can be found in the range of pH meters.

Defined reference point for pH calibration

The pH of a buffer solution changes slightly with temperature. This solution has a reference value of pH 4.00 at 20 °C and pH 4.01 at 25 °C. It is traceable to the NIST standard and is suitable for meters designed to use a pH 4.00 or pH 4.01 calibration point. One compatible example is the Aqua Master Tools P50 Pro2.

Clean handling helps protect the reference solution

For calibration, pour a small amount into a clean container and follow the calibration procedure specified for your meter. Once used, the liquid should be discarded rather than returned to the original container, helping to prevent contamination of the remaining buffer solution. Bottles should be closed immediately after use and stored at 15–25 °C. Depending on the meter, two-point calibration also uses a suitable pH 7.01 buffer solution.

Four pack sizes for different levels of use

The solution is available in 20 ml, 100 ml, 500 ml and 5 L sizes. The smaller option is convenient for occasional calibration, while the larger containers provide sufficient solution for frequent calibration or use with several pH meters.
