Acapulco Gold

Beskrivelse

Acapulco Gold by Barney’s Farm

Acapulco Gold by Barney’s Farm draws on Central American material associated with Mexico’s Pacific coast. Reddish-brown calyxes and a pale trichome covering give mature flowers the golden appearance that shaped the name of this line.

With 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica, the plant develops an upright and well-branched frame. It nevertheless remains comparatively compact indoors at around 100 to 110 cm, while outdoor plants can reach approximately 150 to 200 cm.

The flowering period takes around 60 to 70 days. Barney’s Farm lists indoor yields of approximately 600 to 700 g/m² and outdoor yields of up to 1,500 g per plant. THC content is stated at around 22 percent, with outdoor harvest expected during the second to third week of October.

Earth, sweetness and pine form the aromatic foundation. Citrus, coffee, creamy accents and a drier woody direction broaden the profile without obscuring the classic character of the Central American line.

Its defining quality lies in more than the historic name. The contrast between moderate indoor height, a considerably larger outdoor frame and the golden-brown flower traits gives Acapulco Gold a distinct position among modern feminized sativa varieties.
