Monster by Eva Female Seeds

Monster does not earn its name through complicated handling, but through the frame it can build in the right place. Indoors, it usually stays manageable at around 100 to 120 cm, while outdoors it can reach roughly 2 to 4 m depending on sowing time and root space. This is not a variety for tight, poorly ventilated corners, but for growers who can plan height, side width and late season volume properly.

The genetics combine lines from Mexico, Colombia, Meao Thai and Uzbekistan with G13 Hash Plant. Eva Female Seeds lists Monster at around 80 percent sativa and 20 percent indica. That background explains the elongated, well branched body with a wide stance and a large central flower. The G13 Hash Plant side adds more density and resin expression to a structure that could otherwise appear much more open.

Indoors, flowering takes around 65 to 70 days. The switch to flowering is best planned at around 50 to 60 cm, so the plant is not held back too late in the room. Monster can be grown in soil, coco or hydroponic systems and has a rather low basic nutrient demand, while still tolerating stronger feeding in a stable setup. The main point is an organised canopy, because the variety works not only upward, but also outward.

Outdoors, Monster shows its real scale. In soil, with strong light and enough root space, it can become very large and build heavy production. In the northern hemisphere, the harvest window is around 15 October. When planted outside, the summer size is only one part of the plan; the second half of October also matters. Airflow, spacing, branch support and a position that dries well after rain are more important here than final height alone.

The profile is drier and more savoury than the fruit led Eva Seeds lines: wood, cask wood, spice and a hash like depth sit in front. The 1st prize at the Spannabis Cannabis Champions Cup 2009 in the resin category fits this heavier, resin oriented side, but it should remain a secondary note. Monster is mainly a large framed Eva Seeds sativa for open spaces, strong outdoor sites and cultivation plans where size, air and the October window are taken seriously.
