Hesi Coco Starter Set – a feeding programme for growth and flowering

The Hesi Coco Starter Set brings together seven nutrients and supplements for growing in coco coir substrates. It suits beginners establishing a feeding routine as well as experienced growers exploring the Hesi range. Alongside base nutrients for growth and flowering, the set provides complementary products for root development, substrate care and flower development.

Base nutrients matched to each growth stage

Hesi TNT-Complex supplies macronutrients and trace elements during vegetative growth. Hesi Coco takes over as the base nutrient during flowering. Its formulation accounts for the characteristics of coco coir and includes calcium, magnesium and trace elements alongside the main nutrients. This gives you a straightforward way to adjust the base feed as your plants develop.

Support for roots and substrate care

Hesi Root Complex supports root development and helps plants cope with stress such as transplanting. PowerZyme supplies enzymes that break down dead, cellulose-based plant material in the substrate. SuperVit adds concentrated vitamins, amino acids and other beneficial compounds to the feeding programme. Each supplement has a distinct role alongside the relevant base nutrient.

Different roles for PK 13/14 and Boost

Hesi PK 13/14 provides additional phosphorus and potassium. Introduce it during the second half of flowering, increasing the dose gradually according to the feeding schedule. Hesi Boost supports flower development with ingredients derived from plant and fruit extracts. Both products complement Hesi Coco rather than replacing the flowering base nutrient.

Follow the schedule and check the pH

The included Hesi catalogue and coco feeding schedule help you identify when to use each product. Refer to the individual bottle labels for dosing instructions as well. After adding Hesi Coco to your irrigation water, check the pH and adjust it where necessary. Hesi recommends a range of 5.8–6.2 during flowering.
