Hesi pH + Plus – raise low pH levels in your nutrient solution

Hesi pH + Plus, 1 litre is a liquid pH increaser for nutrient solutions used in hydroponics and coco coir cultivation. Use it when a pH measurement shows that your solution is below the required range. Suitable during vegetative growth and flowering, it helps beginners and experienced growers adjust their nutrient solution according to actual readings.

pH adjustment for hydro and coco

The formula contains 50% potassium hydroxide and is intended solely to raise pH. It is not a complete plant feed. Your plants still need a suitable Hesi fertiliser matched to their growing medium and stage of development.

Hesi gives pH 5.8–6.2 as a reference range for hydroponic and coco cultivation. Take the requirements of your plants and growing system into account rather than treating this as a universal target for every crop.

Let your measurements guide the dose

Prepare your nutrient solution first, then check it with a pH meter such as the ADWA AD11. Where the reading is too low, carefully add small amounts of Hesi pH + Plus. Mix thoroughly and measure again before making any further adjustment.

The amount required depends on your water composition and how much correction is needed, so a fixed dose per litre cannot be applied universally. Use only as much as necessary: adding a pH corrector can also increase EC, the electrical conductivity of the solution, and alter its nutrient balance.

Handling the concentrate safely

Danger: Harmful if swallowed. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Wear suitable chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing and tightly fitting safety goggles. Do not mix with acids or pH-down concentrate. Keep tightly closed in its original container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, locked away from children and pets.
