Frozen Tangie by Sumo Seeds

The first point here is not Tangie, but surface texture. Frozen Tangie stands out for a heavily frosted flower finish. The resin rich and icy appearance is one of the defining traits of the variety. In that sense, the name actually matches the plant quite closely.

Sumo Seeds builds the line from Lazy Ice and Cinderellas. That gives the variety a clearly sativa leaning direction without letting it run into an overly loose or unmanageable frame. It is 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica, with denser flower formation than many more open sativa lines tend to carry.

Frozen Tangie flowers in around 67 days, or roughly nine to ten weeks. Indoors, it stays in a compact to medium range, while outdoor plants can stretch much further. That split makes the structure more interesting than varieties that either stay uniformly small or simply run away in growth.

On yield, it is not a narrow performer. Indoor yields reach up to about 625 grams per square metre, while outdoor output comes to around 450 grams per plant. The flower structure is also denser and more resinous rather than loose. That fits well with the combination of Cinderella speed and Lazy Ice influence.

On the profile side, Frozen Tangie moves clearly into fruity citrus territory, often with grapefruit leading the way. Sweeter notes sit underneath without flattening the brighter edge. More important, though, is the overall shape of the seed: heavy resin on a sativa leaning line, paired with a relatively quick flowering window and a bright fruit driven profile. That is what gives it definition instead of leaving it as just another Tangie variation.
