DryFerm Bag – a three-pack for drying and curing herbs

The DryFerm Bag three-pack lets you dry freshly harvested herbs, then leave them in the same bags for curing or storage. Suitable for beginners and experienced growers, these drying bags make it straightforward to process separate harvest batches.

Water vapour release with an oxygen barrier

The transparent specialist film allows water vapour to escape while providing a barrier against incoming oxygen. You can inspect the contents without opening the bag. However, the film does not replace suitable room conditions or guarantee protection against mould.

Three sizes and an airtight closure

Choose from 25 × 40 cm, 30 × 50 cm or 50 × 50 cm. Each pack contains three bags of the same size. Seal the opening airtight after filling, for example with a suitable impulse heat sealer. Separately available DryFerm Bag Clips can be used with the two smaller sizes. Closure clips are not included.

Keep the bags dark and monitor room conditions

Place the sealed bags on a wire rack or mesh so that air can circulate underneath as well as around them. Keep the location dark. Recommended drying conditions are 18–23 °C and 45–55% relative humidity. A thermometer and hygrometer helps you monitor both room readings.

Track drying progress by weighing

Weigh the filled bags daily. Drying typically takes around 7–12 days, depending on room conditions and the amount of material inside. Once the weight remains stable, allow a further 2–3 days for residual moisture to equalise. Your herbs can then remain in the bags for further curing.
