When Cloudious9 started developing the Hydrology9, they wanted to create something revolutionary. Although the idea of a portable vaporizer with liquid filtration was new, they wanted to do more. After testing many portable vaporizers on the market at the time, they found that heat distribution can be a problem when there is a good amount of herb involved, and it was frustrating to have some fresh herb left after vaping. So the patent-pending stirrer for even heat distribution was born.

Modern vaporizers tend to be highly automated, which, despite the benefits, can get boring. Stirring gives the user back a little control, and Cloudious9 sees it as a worthwhile addition to the Hydrology9’s function.

The stirrer is built into the lower chamber cover; the cover is made of an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy and the stirrer itself of heat-resistant stainless steel. The stirrer comes with a flower-shaped plate that is small enough to let air flow around its edge and through its many air holes, and large enough to push the herb upwards into the chamber.
