Canadian Sour by Sumo Seeds

Canadian Sour carries a sativa leaning side, but it does not behave like a loose or overly sprawling plant. The structure stays more contained than the name might suggest, with a cleaner overall shape and a steadier build than many brighter Sour Haze style crosses.

That balance comes from the pairing of BC Skunk and Amnesia Ganja Haze. One side brings order, sturdier growth, and a calmer plant body, while the other pushes in freshness, lift, and the lightly sour edge that gives the variety its name. The result does not fall into heavy Skunk territory and does not run off into a long, wild Haze direction either.

Flowering sits in the mid range and usually finishes after about 9 to 10 weeks. Indoors, the plant often stays around 100 cm, while outdoor specimens can become much larger and, under good conditions, reach roughly 200 cm. Yield also stays in a solid range, with around 350 to 500 g/m² indoors and about 450 to 500 g per plant outside.

The aroma and flavour do not lean into dull earthiness or simple sweetness. Instead, Canadian Sour moves through a fruity profile with a light sour note, which gives it a brighter and clearer identity within the range.

Overall, this is not a variety built around extremes or showy numbers. It is a steady, manageable line with balanced output, a fairly even structure, and a fresh aromatic direction that stays easy to place.
