Apogee AL-100 levelling plate for accurate radiation sensor alignment
The Apogee AL-100 Solar Sensor Levelling Plate helps you position compatible radiation sensors accurately on a horizontal plane. Correct levelling is particularly important when a sensor is intended to measure radiation incident on a horizontal surface. The plate can be used on flat surfaces or permanently mounted to materials such as wood, making it a practical accessory for growers and other users working with Apogee measurement sensors.
Easy alignment with an integrated spirit level
The AL-100 incorporates a spirit level so you can check horizontal alignment directly during installation. The level is designed to operate between -29 and 55 °C. Careful sensor positioning supports correct and repeatable deployment. Compatible instruments and related equipment can be found in the measuring and dosing equipment category.
Designed for Apogee radiation sensors
The stainless steel plate accommodates Apogee Instruments solar and radiation sensors, including pyranometers, pyrgeometers and quantum sensors. It can, for example, be used to level the sensor of the Apogee MQ-500 Full-Spectrum Quantum Meter. Measuring 79 × 79 × 8 mm and weighing 113 g, the AL-100 provides a compact, stable mounting base. Please note that it is not compatible with the Apogee AL-120 mounting bracket.
