Ak

Description

AK feminized by Buddha Seeds

Within the Buddha Seeds catalogue, AK is not presented as a modern reinvention but as a deliberate return to a recognised classic. This feminized line is positioned through its established genetic background and its long standing role in breeding history rather than through trend driven styling or novelty. That gives it a place in the range that feels more foundational than decorative.

The genetic basis is described as an old, slightly sativa leaning multi origin line that brings together Colombian, Mexican, Thai and Afghan elements. Buddha Seeds places clear emphasis on preserving a version that stays close to the original AK concept. At the same time, the variety appears to have been selected into a more manageable form, avoiding some of the looser and less predictable growth often associated with older expressions of this type.

In growth, this results in a plant that reads as more compact and approachable than one might first expect from a classic AK with visible sativa influence. It is presented as suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation and is described by the breeder as resistant and accessible in handling. Rather than relying on unchecked stretch, the structure seems to favour a stronger and more useful build with fuller side development.

AK is a photoperiod dependent feminized variety from the Classics line, with emphasis on high resin production and a strong THC orientation.

The aromatic direction also stays closer to the sharper and more recognisably classic side often associated with AK lines, rather than moving into a modern sweet profile. Depending on phenotype, the balance between spicy, firmer and fresher notes may shift somewhat. Even so, the overall type remains easy to recognise. Buddha Seeds AK comes across as a consciously classic and slightly tamed AK selection that keeps its heritage visible while offering a more controlled structure than some older versions.
