Original Gorilla #4 by Anesia Seeds is defined by stickiness, stretch and weight. The cultivar does not stay politely compact. It keeps pushing during flower, while the buds develop the heavy resin coat that makes the 4 background visible on the plant.
The line comes from an elite cut in the GG4 direction and was crossed, backcrossed and stabilised by Anesia. Behind it sit Chem Sis x Sour Dubb and the known fourth phenotype, selected further for its exceptional trichome production. Original Gorilla #4 therefore carries more real Glue substance than a simple modern hybrid label.
This cultivar needs height control. At around 140 to 180 cm indoors and up to 250 cm outdoors, it can move strongly upward, especially if the vegetative phase is pushed too long. SCROG fits the plant because the structure benefits from opened shoots, wider space use, spread flower weight and supported upper zones.
After around 9 weeks of flowering, Original Gorilla #4 forms large dense buds with very strong resin coverage. Anesia lists 500 to 550 g per square metre indoors and up to 600 g per plant outdoors, with harvest around mid October. The high over 30 to 33 percent THC figure belongs directly to the sticky bud surface that gave this line its name.
Pine, sandalwood, sweetness and cherry give Original Gorilla #4 a spicy, defined direction. The real handling point is the growth itself: early guidance, light across the side branches, strong support under heavy tops and a resin layer that does not feel decorative, but shapes the whole plant.
