Cotton Candy Kush

Description

Cotton Candy Kush by Delicious Seeds

Cotton Candy Kush does not read like a strain that can be explained through density alone or through size alone. What makes it interesting is the contrast between its parents. Power Plant contributes more lift, more length and a more open line of movement, while Lavender tightens the body and gives the profile a much more individual direction. The result is a feminized variety that does not fall into a rigid Kush pattern, but builds its identity through tension rather than simple heaviness.

The plant can gain a noticeable amount of volume as it develops, but it does not become messy. Longer flower formations and a structure with more depth in the side framework define it more than compactness does. Anyone looking only for short and squat plants is likely to read this line incorrectly. Cotton Candy Kush belongs more to the group of varieties that use space and turn that into visible structure.

Flowering is usually placed in the 60 to 70 day range, with outdoor harvest often listed around mid October. Yield expectations are generous as well. That makes the strain more than a profile driven line with limited output. It is a cross that combines productive strength with a more individual expression, which also helps explain why it has remained relevant in the catalogue over time.

The profile does not open through sweetness alone. Citrus notes such as grapefruit or lime come first, followed by cedarwood, a skunky edge and a lightly floral metallic depth that fits the Lavender side well. Because of that, Cotton Candy Kush feels far more layered aromatically than the name might suggest at first.

Cotton Candy Kush therefore makes the most sense in setups where a larger feminized line with longer flower formation, strong yield potential and a marked citrus skunk direction is wanted. Its appeal comes less from side data and more from the way width, expression and a profile with real texture are tied together.
