Description
Big Bud by Seedstockers
Big Bud is built around output and does not try to hide that behind anything else. This variety is very clearly about large flowers, heavy weight and a type of cultivation where strong production does not have to be forced out of the plant with endless effort. That is its entire character. It is not here to feel exotic. It is here to deliver.
The Afghani and Skunk background explains that behaviour well. What grows from it is not a delicate or unpredictable line, but a stable and even running plant with solid structure and a clear tendency toward heavy, voluminous buds. That is also why it stays relatively easy to place from one run to the next, reading less like a variety of surprises and more like a tool for serious production.
Flowering stays in a relatively quick range, while yield moves very clearly into XXL territory. What makes Big Bud more interesting is that it does not rely on volume alone. It combines that output with a consistently high level of final quality, so it makes sense as more than just a bulk option.
Its key consideration appears where climate and room conditions are managed properly. Because the flowers become very large and dense, humidity should not be allowed to run too high, otherwise the same size that makes the variety attractive can become the point that needs attention. That is not a flaw so much as part of what Big Bud actually is.
On the aromatic side, it stays closer to a grounded classic style, with an earthy and lightly floral direction rather than modern loudness. Big Bud works best where heavy production, stable plant logic and consistently weighty flowers come together in one line.
