Caramelo by Delicious Seeds

Caramelo is one of those Delicious lines that cannot be explained through a compact indica impression alone, even if the plant can look fairly contained at first glance. As it develops, the other side becomes more obvious. The variety carries more reach in its frame, more vertical movement and enough energy in the lateral structure to become more than a simple main cola plant.

That branching pattern is one of the traits that really defines Caramelo. The line reacts quickly to structural intervention and can be guided well into broader canopy forms. In flatter setups with a net or a properly spread surface, it tends to make the most sense because the side branches do not just appear, they also keep building through flowering. This gives the plant more architectural interest than many varieties that place most of their weight only in the centre.

The flowering window remains manageable for a sativa-dominant line. Delicious Seeds lists 60 days indoors and an early-October outdoor finish, with production reaching 450 g/m² inside and more than 900 g per plant outside.

The profile is more distinctive than the name might suggest at first. Sweet fruit is part of the picture, but lavender, liquorice, musk, skunk and spice sit alongside it. That combination keeps Caramelo from falling into a simple candy direction. Aromatically it feels fuller, a little less polished and much more recognisable than many smoother sweet lines.

As a feminized Delicious line, Caramelo makes the most sense where branching, trainability and a more layered aromatic direction are all wanted at once. It is not a neutral stock cultivar, but a plant with its own rhythm and a profile that cannot be reduced to one easy sweet note.
