Buddha Purple Kush Auto (autoflowering zaden)

Beschrijving

Purple Kush Auto from Buddha Seeds is a feminized autoflowering strain with indica dominance that stands out for its mountain genetics, its characteristic purple coloration and dense, resinous buds that don’t go unnoticed. Compact, consistent and with a short cycle, it’s a solid option both for those taking their first steps in cultivation and for the experienced grower seeking efficiency, now available as seeds in Alchimia’s autoflowering catalogue.

Genetics and lineage

Purple Kush Auto comes from the cross between Purple Afghani and Hindu Kush, two varieties of ancestral origin from the valleys of the Hindu Kush mountain range, to which Ruderalis genetics have been incorporated to obtain the autoflowering version. From its indica parents it inherits a compact structure, tight buds and abundant resin, while the Ruderalis provides autonomous flowering independent of photoperiod. One of its most striking features is its chromatic stability: the breeder guarantees that one hundred percent of the phenotypes develop the characteristic purple coloration, activated by anthocyanins in the presence of cooler temperatures during flowering.

Indoor and outdoor cultivation

Indoors, Purple Kush Auto completes its cycle in just 65–70 days from germination, with a contained height of between 50 and 60 cm that makes it especially suitable for small spaces. Its structure concentrates production in a pronounced central cola with few side branches, and an 18-hour light photoperiod allows you to maximize yield up to 350 – 400 g/m². Homogeneity between plants is another strong point: crops are very uniform, which simplifies space management and harvest times.

Outdoors it maintains the same cycle of 65 – 70 days, which makes it possible to carry out several harvests throughout the season. The plant offers a production of 50 – 60 g per plant and its compact and resistant size makes it an interesting candidate for terraces, balconies or any urban space with direct natural light. Its cultivation difficulty is low, with simple management that doesn’t require advanced knowledge.

Aromas, flavors and effects

The aromatic profile of Purple Kush Auto refers directly to its mountain roots: sandalwood, hash and earthy nuances dominate both the aroma and flavor, with fruity and sweet notes that appear in the background to round out the experience. On the palate, those same soft hints of sandalwood and hash remain with a clean and recognizable presence that fans of classic Afghan genetics will appreciate.

The effects are of a physical and relaxing nature, typical of a pure origin indica. The breeder describes it as mildly narcotic, inducing a state of deep bodily relaxation without being overwhelming or completely canceling physical activity. With approximate THC levels of between 15 and 20%, it’s a variety designed for the end of the day or moments of disconnection.
