Northern Lights Auto does not need much dressing up. The variety works precisely because its role is so direct: a short cycle, a compact frame and a plant that moves into flower quickly without ending up thin or insubstantial.
The cross between Northern Lights and Green-O-Matic produces an overall height of 90–120 cm with long branching. Several productive flower-bearing axes develop alongside the main stem without allowing the frame to become uncontrolled. The structure remains more compact than the photoperiod original, but it is not an especially small autoflower.
That is also where the variety becomes most readable. Green House describes the flowers as long, rocket shaped and heavily resin coated, with notably long pistils. So this is not a plant carried by width or by an elaborate family angle. It makes more sense through a clean plant body and a run that gets through without much extra build up.
The timing is just as straightforward. Green House gives around 8 weeks of flowering and about 10 weeks from start to finish. Indoor production is listed up to 800 g/m², with outdoor figures around 100 to 150 g per plant. That places it quite clearly in the older Green House auto range as a fast, productive line with little fuss and enough substance to stay relevant.
The aromatic side stays classic as well. Green House points to hashish and incense as the main direction. That suits the variety better than any softened fruit language would. Northern Lights Auto reads best as an early compact automatic with a straight run, a distinctive flower shape and an old school aromatic frame.
