Deimos (semillas autoflorecientes)

Descripción

Now available in Alchimia’s autoflowering catalog are Deimos seeds from Buddha Seeds, an indica-dominant hybrid with ruderalis component that stands out for its high production, ease of cultivation, and powerful relaxing effects. Launched in 2009 and awarded several international prizes, it is today one of the reference autoflowering strains for growers of all levels.

Genetics and origin of Deimos Auto

Deimos Auto is the result of a rigorous selection process carried out over seven generations, with Northern Lights as the main genetic base, reinforced with indica and ruderalis material that provides the autoflowering capability. Buddha Seeds’ work has managed to preserve all the robustness and resin production characteristic of its ancestors in a variety that completes its cycle autonomously, without depending on photoperiod changes. The level of selection achieved explains why other seed banks have used it as a base to develop their own autoflowering crosses.

Growing Deimos Auto indoors and outdoors

Indoors, Deimos Auto needs approximately 75 days from germination to harvest under a constant photoperiod of 18 to 20 hours of light. Depending on the phenotype, it reaches between 70 cm and 1.10 m in height and offers a production of 450–525 g/m², with dense and very resinous buds both on the main cola and on its long side branches. It is recommended to transplant to a final pot of between 18 and 27 liters to avoid transplant stress, and support for the branches due to the weight of the buds. It is compatible with SOG and SCROG techniques, although aggressive pruning should be avoided. Its intense smell during flowering recommends the use of a carbon filter. Its difficulty of management is low, ideal for beginners.

Outdoors, being autoflowering, it can be harvested at any time of the year with sufficient hours of sun and adequate temperature, usually between April and October in temperate climates. Average production is 80–100 g per plant, with potential of up to 200 g in optimal conditions of rich substrate and plenty of direct sunlight. Its Northern Lights lineage gives it notable resistance to mold and pests. At the end of flowering, humidity should be monitored to protect the density of the buds.

Aromas, flavors and effects of Deimos Auto

Deimos Auto displays a complex aromatic profile where spicy, fruity and sweet notes blend over an earthy background, with hints of skunk and incense that emerge in some phenotypes. On the palate, the sweet flavor takes center stage with spicy and fruity touches that give way to a dense and classic smoke, highly valued by lovers of classic genetics.

The effect is markedly physical and relaxing, true to its indica predominance. The body relaxation is deep and introspective, making Deimos Auto an ideal choice for the last hours of the day or for those seeking to disconnect and fall asleep. Its accessible profile makes it suitable for both beginner consumers and more experienced ones looking for a variety with strong and predictable effects.
