Black Orchid

Description

Black Orchid by Original Sensible Seeds

Black Orchid brings Gelato and OG Kush together in a form that cannot be reduced to simple heaviness. The Gelato side adds a creamier and slightly brighter upper layer, while OG Kush compresses the frame and gives the line more depth underneath. Because of that, the result is not a smooth dessert style cross, but a feminized variety with a denser core and a clearly defined identity.

In growth, it stays medium to vigorous and feels strong enough to carry a substantial flower set properly. The structure is not delicate, but closed and load bearing without turning blunt. That is what makes Black Orchid easy to read, because it works through more than aroma or pedigree alone. It has a body that can actually support the weight it builds.

Indoors, flowering is usually placed at around 63 to 70 days. Yield is strong as well, with roughly 650 to 750 g per m² indoors and around 700 to 1000 g per plant outdoors. That places Black Orchid clearly among the more productive lines without reducing it to numbers or size alone.

The profile brings together blueberry pie, citrus and herbal notes, followed by creamy and lightly buttery nuances. Because of that, the aromatic picture stays layered without slipping into a simple sweet lane. That mix gives the strain more definition than many softer hybrids built around fruit alone.

Black Orchid therefore holds together a dense plant body, a solid productive frame and a profile balanced between berry, cream and Kush. Its weight comes from that cohesion rather than from oversized claims wrapped around the strain.
