Chocolate Mint OG comes from Emerald OG and Grandaddy Purple in the Humboldt Seed Organization line. The name is not carried only by chocolate and mint, but by the mix of OG depth, darker colour potential and a firm flower body. With 80 percent indica and 20 percent sativa, it stays clearly on the heavier hybrid side.

In growth, Chocolate Mint OG is not a tiny or overly simple compact line. It can build quickly and outdoors may reach around 3 metres when the site and season allow it. Indoors, the vegetative phase should not be left unchecked for too long, because the plant can take more room than the calm name suggests.

Indoor flowering is listed at 55 to 65 days. Yield figures sit at 400 to 600 grams per square metre indoors and around 1 to 2 kilograms per plant outdoors. Early October is given as the outdoor harvest window, which fits the shorter flowering character of this line.

For cultivation, height is only part of the picture. Chocolate Mint OG forms heavy, compact flowers and can benefit late in bloom from air through the plant, clean thinning and possible support. It should not be kept too damp, since the variety is not described as especially moisture resistant.

The profile brings together chocolate, mint, pine, spices and a slightly acidic edge. Individual plants may lean more toward the coloured Grandaddy Purple side or more toward the Emerald OG structure, so colour, flower density, resin coverage and aromatic weight can vary within the line.
