Description
Durban Poison by Dutch Passion
The current Dutch Passion line combines South African Durban genetics with an unnamed Indica component. Successive generations were adapted to the variable conditions of Northern Europe while retaining a strongly Sativa-dominant character.
Vigorous side branching, an upright frame and substantial stretch shape the plant. Broader leaves may appear during early growth, followed by slimmer Sativa foliage and elongated flower development once blooming is established.
Indoor plants can double or triple their original height after the light cycle changes. ScrOG, LST and moderate pruning help keep the canopy manageable. Outdoors, plants can reach 300-400 cm and remain notably resilient in cooler, changeable conditions.
Flowering takes 8-9 weeks. Dutch Passion places indoor production at 450-650 g per square metre and classifies the yield as XXL. The flowers become unusually dense and heavy for a Sativa-dominant line, with a pronounced resin coating.
Spicy Haze notes lead the aroma, followed by anise, liquorice, lemon and clove. The result remains a recognisable old-school line shaped by South African origins and decades of outdoor selection.
