Blumat Pressure Reducer, 1.3 bar

Description

Blumat Pressure Reducer 1.3 bar for elevated watering areas

The Blumat Pressure Reducer, 1.3 bar connects a Tropf-Blumat watering system directly to a tap and reduces mains pressure to a fixed outlet pressure of 1.3 bar. This version is intended for systems where the watering area is positioned more than 4 m and up to 7 m above the tap. It is therefore particularly useful for installations with a greater vertical rise between the water connection and the plants.

1.3 bar for greater vertical rises

The pressure reducer is permanently set, so no manual pressure adjustment is required. The specified operating range for the 1.3 bar version is a vertical rise of more than 4 m up to a maximum of 7 m from the tap. Further components for building or extending a system can be found among the Blumat irrigation systems and accessories.

Direct tap connection and 8 mm feeding tube fitting

The inlet connects to a tap with a 3/4″ thread. On the outlet side, a compression fitting accepts the 8 mm feeding tube used throughout the Tropf-Blumat system. A suitable main line is the Blumat 8 mm Feeding Tube, allowing the reducer to be incorporated neatly into a new or existing watering layout.

Designed for Tropf-Blumat watering systems

The pressure reducer forms the connection between a pressurised mains water supply and the system’s main feeding line. Individual Tropf-Blumat watering sensors and additional system components are then connected to this line. When fitting the reducer to the tap, it should be tightened securely by hand rather than forcing the thread with tools.
