Description
Eazy Mixx for an even covering during seed propagation
Eazy Plug Eazy Mixx, 5 litres is a pH-neutral top layer substrate developed for sowing and germination. Applied as a thin covering over seeds, it helps retain moisture around the seed while encouraging young roots to grow downwards. It is suitable for beginners as well as experienced growers looking for an easy-to-handle covering medium during the early stages of plant propagation.
A loose top layer that does not form a crust
Eazy Mixx remains loose and easy to handle even when ambient humidity changes. It does not clump, become sticky or form a hard surface that could obstruct emerging seedlings. This makes it straightforward to spread in a thin, even layer. The manufacturer also describes it as a suitable alternative to materials such as vermiculite when covering seeds.
Designed to work with Eazy Plug propagation cubes
When sowing in Eazy Plug propagation products, the manufacturer recommends covering the seed and seed opening with approximately 1–2 mm of Eazy Mixx. The surface is then carefully sprayed with water. This covering helps reduce seed dehydration and encourages the developing root to grow downwards rather than pushing the seed upwards or sideways.
Compatible with several propagation systems
Eazy Mixx is not limited to Eazy Plug cubes. According to the manufacturer, it can also be combined with rockwool, press pots, coco substrates and paper pots. You can find further suitable options among our propagation media. As only a thin covering is required, the 5 litre pack provides material for numerous sowing applications.
