IEC Power Cable, 2 Meter (open)

Description

IEC Power Cable, 2 Meter (open) – flexible lead for custom wiring

The IEC Power Cable, 2 Meter (open) is a flexible three-core power lead intended for individual electrical connections. One end is already fitted with an IEC plug, while the opposite end is stripped and prepared with cable-end ferrules and an earth cable lug. This configuration makes the cable useful for compatible lighting and electrical components that require a ready-made IEC connection combined with a freely wired cable end.

IEC plug at one end and an open connection at the other

The pre-fitted IEC plug removes the need to assemble this side of the cable yourself, while the open end can be incorporated into a suitable installation. Further cables, fittings and related components are available in the lighting accessories range.

Flexible routing over a 2 metre length

With a cable length of 2.00 m, the lead provides useful routing freedom for compact installations. Its flexible construction makes it easier to position within your setup. Where additional reach is required, the 4 metre IEC Power Cable with open end provides a longer alternative.

Check the required connection before installation

Before fitting the cable, check which IEC connector type and wiring arrangement your equipment requires. If your setup instead needs a female IEC connection, a 2 metre female IEC Power Cable is also available. Work involving open mains wiring should only be carried out correctly by a suitably qualified person with the circuit isolated from the power supply.
