The Haze lineage dates back to the early 1970s in Santa Cruz, California, where brothers R. and J. Haze combined several landrace genetics from Mexico, Colombia, India and Thailand to create a sativa with complex aromas and a long flowering period. In 1976, these historic seeds made their way to the Netherlands, where they became the foundation for numerous European strains.
