What is Skuff and where does it come from?

In many parts of the world, such as Morocco and India, growers were already harvesting trichomes using traditional methods: dried hemp flowers were placed in a cloth bundle and gently beaten against a stretched canvas to shake loose the precious trichomes.

This manual tradition continues to this day in certain regions, sometimes in local forms such as the famous “frappes” around Tangier, where the flowers are beaten on a sieve stretched over an earthenware pot.
