Thai regular

Description

Thai regular by ACE Seeds

Thai regular by ACE Seeds is a regular pure tropical sativa from Chiang Mai in Thailand’s Golden Triangle. This variety is aimed at growers and breeders who want to work with a classic Thai line where origin, old school sativa expression, and clear landrace logic matter most. Within the ACE range, Thai stands for an original, long flowering, and distinctly tropical reference line.

In cultivation, Thai develops a tall, flexible, and finely structured plant with strongly sativa driven behaviour. The line flowers in successive stages, usually stays green even under lower temperatures, and shows very good resistance to humidity and botrytis. A smaller part of the population finishes in a more compact, sturdier, and slightly earlier form, while the later plants express the strongly tropical side of the line more clearly. Outdoors, the variety is recommended up to about the 43rd parallel.

Flowering time is around 12 to 16 weeks depending on the expression. THC content ranges from 10 to 15 percent, CBD plays virtually no role, and CBG is around 0.41 percent. In terms of yield, Thai is positioned in the medium range. The focus here is less on compact standard metrics and more on the line’s clear Thai morphology, long development, and typical tropical sativa quality.

Its profile shows three main directions. The classic expression is fresh, lemon driven, woody, and spicy in a recognisably Thai way. Alongside this, sweeter, creamier, floral, and musky expressions can appear, while a smaller part of the population develops unusually intense straw like notes. This gives Thai the feel of an original regional line rather than a modern softened sativa.
