Description
The Jamón & Melon from The Grateful Seeds is a feminized and photoperiod variety born from the cross between Hash Burger and Melon Granita (clone selected by @SwollenHeads). It brings together the juicy sweetness of melon with a more gassy and savory background inherited from the Hash Burger lineage, resulting in a complex aromatic profile. It’s an option designed for growers looking for a highly resinous plant oriented towards extractions and hashish.
Genetics: Hash Burger x Melon Granita
The project starts from two lines with distinct character. Melon Granita brings the fruity side, with that sweet melon that gives the variety its name, while Hash Burger adds the gassy and salty notes along with abundant resin production. The result is a plant of medium to tall stature with moderate stretch.
In cultivation: resinous and highly productive
Jamón & Melon adapts to both indoor and outdoor growing. It stands out for very generous harvests and, above all, for a dense coverage of trichomes that makes it especially interesting for those working with resin and hashish. Its moderate stretch makes managing the cultivation space easier. Sources don’t specify the flowering weeks, production in grams, or exact height.
Flavor and aroma: sweet melon and gas
On the nose and palate, sweet and juicy melon predominates, accompanied by gassy nuances and a salty, savory touch from Hash Burger. It’s a profile described as complex and difficult to categorize, combining the most indulgent part with a deep and terpene-rich background.
