Blueberry Lobster is born from the cross between Blueberry (DJ Short) and Blue Lobster, a creation by Maine Trees. The Blueberry phenotype used is not just any: it was selected by Nobody’s Nursery as the best phenotype ever found of this mythical variety, itself the fruit of the historic cross between Afghani, Thai and Purple Thai. For its part, Blue Lobster is the result of Apples & Bananas with Eye Candy, originally developed within the Compound Genetics ecosystem, and went on to win three awards at the 2023 Zalympix, including runner-up for Best Overall on the East Coast. The result is a 70% indica / 30% sativa hybrid with defined character and very high THC potential.

Cultivation: vigorous, resinous and adaptable

Indoors, Blueberry Lobster develops vigorous vegetative growth with moderate stretch and a dense, bushy structure. Its flowering period is 8-9 weeks, producing compact and extremely resinous buds under optimal conditions. It responds very well to space optimization techniques like SOG and SCROG, and its extremely high trichome production makes it an outstanding candidate for extraction projects. The cultivation difficulty is moderate, suitable for growers with some experience.

Outdoors, harvest occurs in late September or early October, adapting easily to mild climates. Its mold resistance is medium, so it’s advisable to monitor humidity in the final flowering phase. Overall productivity is medium-high both indoors and outdoors, with dense and resinous buds that stand out visually for their deep green tones with purple and violet reflections, orange pistils and a coating of trichomes that give it outstanding bag appeal.

Blueberry Lobster’s aromatic profile is its most recognizable signature: a sweet and intense blueberry, with grape notes, an earthy background and diesel/funk hints that add complexity.
