Lineage Kush XL Autoflower

Kush XL Auto, from the cross of Hindu Kush and OG Kush, is a mostly Indica autoflowering strain (75% Indica / 25% Sativa). It tends to show an earthy, sweet flavor with a strong, indica-leaning body high.

It also carries a Medium THC of 14% – 17%, making it a great choice for anyone looking for a happy, relaxing experience.

Origin

Kush XL Auto has its roots in the mountainous regions between Pakistan and India, where the original Kush varieties were first found. These robust genetics were brought to Amsterdam by Dutch breeders who saw the potential for a strain suited to modern growers. By crossing Hindu Kush with OG Kush and introducing Ruderalis genetics, they developed Kush XL Auto seeds, which combine the classic strength and potency of Kush varieties with the convenience of autoflowering.

The strain keeps the strong, earthy flavors and calming effects typical of Kush genetics, while the autoflowering traits make it easy to cultivate, even for beginners. Similar options include Critical Kush Auto and White Widow Auto, both known for heavy resin and strong, relaxing effects. Like them, Kush XL Auto is an excellent choice for growers seeking high-quality, easy-to-grow cannabis with a powerful impact.

Kush XL Auto Sativa or Indica?

Kush XL Auto is predominantly indica (75% Indica / 25% Sativa), offering a deeply relaxing experience with a touch of cerebral clarity. It captures the essence of its indica genetics, delivering a calming, soothing effect that is perfect for unwinding, with a sense of tranquility and body relaxation while still keeping some mental alertness.

Despite that indica dominance, Kush XL Auto is not one-note: a subtle sativa influence adds a gentle uplift that keeps the experience balanced and prevents excessive sedation, which makes it well suited to evening or nighttime use.

For growers, it promises a robust plant that combines the compact size and quick cycle typical of indicas with a resilience that makes it easy to cultivate, an appealing choice for anyone seeking a potent, relaxing strain with manageable growth.

Kush XL Autoflower Effects

Kush XL Auto delivers a deeply relaxing effect with a gentle creative, mildly aroused lift on top. The indica genetics settle the body into a calm, soothing state, while a subtle cerebral spark keeps the mind pleasant and clear rather than foggy, making it easy to enjoy while still feeling at ease.

That light creative edge can inspire conversation and a happy mood, which then eases into a comfortable calm, for a well-rounded, indica-leaning experience.

It is also prized by cultivators for its resilience and balanced effects. Easy to grow and consistent, it is a popular pick among both novices and seasoned growers looking for a reliable, indica-dominant autoflower.

Kush XL Auto Flowering Time

Kush XL Auto has an impressively short life cycle, reflecting the autoflowering genetics that allow rapid development from seed to harvest. It typically completes its cycle within 8 to 10 weeks, a timeframe that is especially appealing for growers seeking efficiency and quick turnover.

Because it is autoflowering, the plants flower automatically without any change in light cycles, which simplifies the whole cultivation process.

How to grow Kush XL Autoflower?

Kush XL Autoflower seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions, to avoid any problems during their development. Although they are compact, robust and moderately easy to grow, we should always prevent any pests.

You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your Kush XL Auto buds.

• Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
• Thanks to the experience of our customers with our Kush XL Auto seeds, we know that we can increase yields by up to 20%.

Autoflowering seeds are very popular among growers. They are known for their fast life cycle and their ability to flower automatically after a set period of time, rather than relying on changes in the light cycle like other cannabis strains. As for light, they can grow and flower with as little as 12 hours per day, and they do not need a specific light change to move from the vegetative to the flowering stage. We recommend an 18/6 or 20/4 schedule to obtain the best possible yields. This gives growers greater control over the process without having to worry about light timing.

Even so, it is important that the plants receive enough light for healthy growth, as the quality and quantity of light affect both yield and development. Another advantage of autoflowering seeds is their fast life cycle: these plants can grow and flower in as little as 8-10 weeks, which means several harvests a year. Being compact, they are also ideal for small spaces or indoor grows. As for quality, keep in mind that genetics and growing conditions play a big role.

Many autoflowering strains have won awards for their taste, aroma and effects, proving they can produce high-quality marijuana. Remember that our plants also need good nutrients as seedlings, in their vegetative period and finally in their flowering period. When you grow outdoors, choose the best date for your crop and a place where the plants receive the most hours of sunshine. If you prefer to grow indoors, use good tents, textile pots, led lighting, an air extractor to circulate clean air and, of course, a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law.

Keep daytime temperatures between 68-80 ℉ and nighttime temperatures 7 to 9 ℉ cooler than the day.

Autoflower plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase, reduce it to around 40% during flowering and to about 30% by harvest.

Outdoors, in the Northern Hemisphere growers should sow their autoflowering seeds in April, achieving a first harvest in mid summer and a second between July and mid October. Healthy Kush XL Auto seeds produce about 24 oz/plant | 700 gr/plant of buds each.

Indoors, these crops take 8 – 10 weeks from seed to harvest and produce about 0.98 – 1.31 oz/ft² | 300 – 400 gr/m².

Ideal Climate for Growing

Kush XL Auto flourishes in a warm, temperate climate with sunny days and mild nights. The optimal temperature range is 70-85 ℉ (21-29 ℃), providing ideal conditions for vigorous growth and abundant yields. Good air circulation and moderate humidity are also crucial to prevent mold and mildew. This autoflowering variety is resilient and adapts to a range of conditions, but keeping the right temperature ensures the best flavor and potency.

Cannabis seeds are sold for collection and genetic preservation. Check the law in your country before germinating them.
